The First New Holland Agriculture Distributor Appointed in Georgia 
 

LUGANO, Switzerland – March, 26 2009 - New Holland Agriculture has appointed GT Group as its new distributor in Georgia. New Holland Agriculture is the first global agricultural company to enter into the Georgian market with local sales and after sales activities.

 The ceremony to hand over the contract signed between GT Group and New Holland Agriculture will take place during a two day event on March 26 and 27 2009, in Tiblisi, Georgia's capital.

On March 26, a press conference was held to celebrate this important event; Tom Davies, New Holland Business Director for Central Asia - Caucasus, Oguz Kuran, New Holland Business Manager for Caucasus, together with GT Group's top management will be in attendance.

On March 27, New Holland product specialists will present a selection of machines from New Holland's range, one of the largest product offerings in the industry with more than 320 models in 15 segments. The product presentation will focus on tractors above and below 100 horsepower including the market leading range of specialist tractors for orchard and vineyard applications, combine harvesters and hay tools and of course the world-wide top selling New Holland grape harvesters. Invitees attending the presentation will include officials from the Georgian Ministry of Agriculture, representatives from the various agencies committed to help and support the development of agriculture in Georgia,  together with more than 50 customers.

 GT Group LTD will now be representing New Holland Agriculture with sales and after sales activities, which will be further developed in the coming months, to sustain the growth of the Georgian farming sector. Currently their service facility in Tbilisi will provide after sales services to farmers. In addition, specially equipped service vehicles are ready to guarantee assistance to the farmers throughout the country.

 “The partnership with New Holland is very important for our country, because there is a big lack of agricultural machines and service for such kind of machines in Georgia. " – said Levan Gogsadze, General Director of GT Group Ltd. " We undertook obligation with our partner that we will open two service centers for New Holland agricultural machines in regions of Georgia, where we will sell New Holland products and provide customers with high-qualified service as well.”
