’ after sales package, extending the standard built-in offering of Service Plus from two years to three years on all new T7, T8 and T9 tractors.
In the current economic climate with rising costs of fuel and inputs, budgeting and forecasting of spend is becoming increasingly important. Arable customers in particular, are more frequently expecting to be able to fix their cost of ownership or at least understand the advantages of doing so.
New Holland’s after-sales commercial manager, Rob Alker explains: "The beauty of Service Plus is its flexibility. It is designed so that it can be fully tailored to suit what customers are looking for. The level of "excess" payment the customer has to pay per claim can be reduced or increased to meet their individual needs.
“Different cover can also be specified depending on the time scale and hours of use and linked to a service contract. This can all be tailored to the customer's exact requirements.”
Rob adds: “Alongside the immediate benefit to customers of fixing service costs, is the added advantage of increased residual value of the product. This is because all Service Plus contracts are fully transferable from customer to customer with the product.”
