CLEAN ENERGY LEADER

100% COMMITTED TO A SAFE AND CLEAN FUTURE.

Our Vision

As the first agricultural equipment brand to fully support all the potential of biofuels in agriculture, New Holland is strongly committed to providing customers with the finest equipment that can safely be used with biofuels and for the production of biofuel crops. Today, all of our products equipped with a New Holland engine can run on 100% biodiesel.
We continue to invest in further testing, using new technologies and research in alternative fuels in order to make your future a better place to work and live in.

Our First Actions

  • Our first step to fulfil this commitment was taken in 2006, by supporting the B20 in all products.
  • In 2007, NH went a step further and allowed B100 on all products running with NH engines.

Enviroment We know that the technology is evolving quickly. Second generation biofuels, jatropha, bioethanol are possible sources of energy that are being investigated and can become important alternatives to fossil fuels in the near future. New Holland is aware of these developments and, together with the support of the Fiat Group, is in a unique position to develop innovative products adapted to these new sources of energy.

New Holland and Eden Project

Our tractors are “greener” than the green ones!
New Holland reaffirms its reputation as a Clean Energy Leader, being selected as preferred equipment supplier of Eden Project in UK.
Our tractors were preferred over the major competitor’s ones thanks to our environmentally friendly brand image and to our unique commitment on running a joint test programme with 100% Biodiesel.
New Holland tractors also came first in all aspects: low noise level, low emission, low fuel consumption.

New Holland and Eden Project will develop jointly communication projects to give leverage to this collaboration, supporting the promotion of:

  • Biodiesel
  • Sustainable development.

Eden Project
“The living theatre of plants and people.” The Eden Project's mission is to promote the understanding and responsible management of the vital relationship between plants, people and resources, leading towards a sustainable future for all.
Based near St Austell in Cornwall (UK) in the remains of a disused clay pit, the Eden Project features two huge greenhouses; one is designed to recreate a tropical rainforest climate, while the other houses a warm temperate climate. Since its opening, in March 2001, the project has attracted more than seven million visitors.
