New T6000 builds on power and versatility

New Holland's development of its extensive tractor range continues with the introduction of the T6000 Series, which builds upon the success of the versatile TS-A tractors.

The T6000 range meets the new Tier III engine emission regulations. The Tier III engines utilise either a two-valve mechanical injection or four-valve common rail injection configurations. The new T6000 Series will also expand the range offering to include Delta, Plus and now Elite editions.

"The new editions are designed to meet the differing needs of livestock, arable and contracting customers," explains New Holland marketing manager, Giorgio Koursaris. "Each is packaged to help customers specify their perfect machine."

The mechanical-injection T6000 Delta is the entry level range from 101hp up to a higher level of 126hp. A low profile Horizon™ cab gives the Delta greater building access making it ideal for the livestock farmer looking for a simple, reliable tractor that is keenly priced.

The T6000 Plus also features mechanical injection, but power is extended from 101hp to 141hp. A 24x24 Dual Command or a four-speed powershift 16x16 Electro Command transmission is offered. Operator comfort is ensured by a cab noise level as low as 70dBA and the availability of cab and front axle suspension. For haulage applications a 50kph transmission is offered on the T6050 and T6070. These higher horsepower models will offer great performance while maintaining a conventional mechanically fuelled engine. Operating costs are kept in check with low specific fuel consumptions and an industry leading service interval of 600 hours.

The T6000 Elite offers even higher levels of performance and economy, featuring common rail injection engine with power management, with power levels up to 141hp and a boosted power up to 141hp. The 16x16 Active Electro Command™ transmission can be specified with a choice of 40kph or 50kph transport speeds to create a tractor that is at home in the field or on the road. The T6000 Elite features the spacious Horizon cab with air conditioning as standard. Comfort Ride™ cab suspension, a deluxe air seat and performance monitor are also offered as standard. The combination of Engine Power Management and the Auto modes make the T6000 Elite the ultimate performer in its class.

"The three editions clearly define their own space in the market.  The Delta offers excellent value, while Plus builds upon this strong foundation and the Elite leads the field, making the new T6000 Series a worthy successor to the TS-A and a very flexible range," said Mr Koursaris.
