Graham Gleed, 30, has been appointed as New Holland’s Groundcare Product Manager for groundcare machinery.
Hailing from the West Midlands, Graham is from a farming background and gained extensive experience in the machinery industry after completing a degree in Agricultural Management at Reading University.
A move to the trade in 2004 saw Graham responsible for sales of leading agricultural marques. He now plans to use his varied experience to provide a broad knowledge base for his new career with New Holland’s groundcare division.
“I hope to put my knowledge of the machinery market to good use for New Holland,” Graham says, “And I aim to bring new ideas from my background to the way the company’s outstanding range of equipment is specified and marketed. I am delighted to be joining the leading manufacturer of compact tractors and groundcare equipment at such an exciting time and look forward to taking the products to an expanding audience.”
New Holland recently extended its offering in the groundcare sector with the all new Boomer series of compact tractors which includes a state of the art CVT transmission, a wider range of mowing equipment and a new side by side vehicle. In addition, the company now has a groundcare warehouse at Bidford on Avon, Warwickshire which can supply its compact tractors with purpose built specialist attachments direct to the dealer.
While his main hobby is shooting, Graham says that he is looking forward to getting closer to one of New Holland groundcare’s core customer bases by taking up golf.
