New Holland T6 tractor range to make its UK debut at LAMMA
New Holland has appropriately chosen LAMMA, the UK’s leading agricultural machinery show, as the venue for the British launch of the brand new T6 range of tractors. These Tier 4A compliant machines uniquely combine productivity, efficiency, versatility and flexibility.
On the 18th and 19th January, LAMMA visitors will be able to look under the bonnets and see for themselves the ECOBlue™ SCR (Selective Catalytic Reduction) NEF engines, which promise superior performance, excellent transient load response and up to 10 per cent reduced operating costs. Fuel savings will be achieved thanks to the super-efficient breathability, the unique engine idle speed management and 1000 Economy PTO option.
There are seven new T6 models which range from 119hp to 175hp. All have excellent power to weight ratio and improved traction. The Engine Power Management system ensures there’s power on tap for all agricultural tasks.
The new T6 range will also be equipped and registered with CESAR, the most widely used equipment security and registration scheme of its kind in the world. CESAR acts as a powerful deterrent against theft and an invaluable aid in recovery - its distinctive triangular registration plate is now a familiar sight on British farms.
LAMMA will offer many customers their first opportunity to inspect the new flagship range of Twin Rotor CR Combines which are now available with the new SmartTrax system – specially designed to reduce compaction, increase stability and improve traction. This new CR series has already been awarded the prestigious ‘Machine of the Year’ title at the recent Agritechnica show in Germany.
The New Holland stand will also feature the new T4 PowerStar range. The three PowerStar models (ranging from 55 to 75hp) have brand new, spacious cabs with intuitively laid out controls. This comfortable and innovative way of working will help to increase productivity and reduce fatigue.
Visitors to the stand will also be able to view the new ‘Marangon for New Holland’ header for the FR9000 forage harvesters. This header has been designed to significantly improve the productivity of direct cut whole crop and grass biomass operations – a sector that has seen very significant growth recently. This six metre header offers a super fine cut with fourteen cutting discs.
The New Holland LAMMA stand is expected to be a hub of activity and will also provide an ideal opportunity for customers to find out more about what the Tier 4A machines are capable of. Product Specialists will be on hand to explain how the ECOBlue™ SCR engines can really improve performance and provide fuel savings.
