New Holland helps make Royal Windsor Horse Show a big success
New Holland helps make Royal Windsor Horse Show a big success New Holland Groundcare played its part in one of the biggest occasions in the equestrian calendar, the Royal Windsor Horse Show – which counted the Queen among its thousands of visitors.

The event at Windsor Castle also hosted an extraordinary Diamond Jubilee Pageant to honour the monarch’s 60-year reign, in which over 550 horses and more than 1,000 dancers, musicians and performers came together from around the world.

Working hard behind the scenes throughout the main four-day show were eight compact tractors loaned by New Holland through its local dealers, Malpas Tractors, Campey Turf Care and The Compact Tractor Centre.

The team of T1500s and Boomers were used to set up the competitions and to move jumps, scenery and other equipment into the show rings during the event which ran from May 9th-13th.

New Holland Compact Tractor Product Specialist Steve Basnett said: “We were only too pleased to be able to help with the Royal Windsor Horse Show and the tractors did a sterling job.

“It was a proud opportunity to lend a hand at such a prestigious event attended by the Queen, and to show off the capabilities of our machines with their host of features we have developed that make tasks so much easier.

“The fact that our local trio of dealerships were able to offer this kind of assistance so reliably is yet another example of New Holland’s strength and the constant support offered by its dedicated network of family-run outlets.”

The loan of the tractors was applauded by H Power Group, which runs the Royal Windsor Horse Show and specialises in managing big public events, competitions and entertainment around the world.

H Power marketing director Jo Peck said: “The Royal Windsor Horse Show is a grand event that people look forward to all year, so to have New Holland giving us some extra help to make sure things ran smoothly was really appreciated.

“The tractors they supplied us with did the job admirably and contributed without a hitch to having everything in place at the right time so our visitors could enjoy the spectacle. Thank you New Holland!”
