New Holland set to unveil T5 Electro Command and new TD5 range for the first time in the UK at LAMMA
The first public showing in the UK of New Holland’s T5 Electro Command and new TD5 tractor range are set to draw large crowds at the prestigious upcoming LAMMA show.

New Holland has further extended the T5 range’s appeal to livestock, mixed farmers and contractors with the addition of the acclaimed Electro Command™, semi-powershift transmission. The truly all-rounder three-model range, developing between 99-114hp will benefit from a state-of-the-art transmission, alongside proven class-leading Common Rail technology for Tier 4A compliance and the segment’s benchmark, deluxe VisionView™ Cab.

The Electro Command™, semi powershift transmission is an optimised version of the acclaimed transmission currently fitted to the popular T6 range. This highly efficient transmission, features 16 forward and reverse gears, and enables operators to select up to eight gears via up or downshift buttons on the dedicated transmission lever without physically moving it.

Alongside the T5, visitors will be able to view the brand new TD5 range which gives the driver the best outlook with its new VisionView™ cab - combining segment-leading operator comfort with ergonomics in a stylish package.

The TD5 boasts robust and efficient mechanical engines of up to 113hp for ultimate productivity and efficiency, as well as the segment-first hydraulic PowerShuttle, which is ideal for loader applications.

Outstanding operator safety comes with the ROPS option with full FOPS compliance, while the R38 tyre compatibility brings enhanced productivity and reduced soil compaction.

Also making its debut will be the FR600 self-propelled forage harvester - one of five new models produced at the New Holland plant in Zedelgem, Belgium. These continue New Holland’s legacy of industry-leading chopping quality and performance, plus significantly improved capacity, operator comfort and control.

Innovative new features include productivity-enhancing ECOBlue™ SCR technology on the FR450 and FR500 models, the ultra-wide IntelliView™ IV colour touchscreen monitor, and a new high performance grass pick-up header.

These have been combined with renowned FR features including the VariFlow™ and HydroLoc™ systems in a strikingly distinctive New Holland styling package, to offer professional contractors and large cooperatives unsurpassed quality and throughput.

Other products on show will include New Holland’s new range of Roll Balers, BigBalers and T6, T7, T8 and T4 PowerStar tractors. Alongside these products will be New Holland’s CX and CR combine harvesters, telehandlers and Rustler utility vehicle. There will also be a display of PLM equipment for precision farming including the new EZ Pilot - a hands-free integrated steering system.

Finally, New Holland Construction will display a range of products including a wheeled-loader, a Backhoe loader and SkidSteer.
