Everybody’s needs are unique. That’s why Boomer™ compact tractors are available with four transmission options: a new top-of-the-line EasyDrive™ Continuously Variable Transmission, Hydrostatic Transmission, 12x12 SSS Transmission and a 9x3 Gear Transmission.

OPTION 1: EASYDRIVE™ CONTINUOUSLY VARIABLE TRANSMISSION (CVT)
Driving a compact tractor is easier than ever with our new EasyDrive CVT. A single foot pedal controls both travel and engine speeds, and adjusts automatically to match load conditions. There’s no more clutching or changing gears. What’s more, the CVT is quieter and more efficient than hydrostatic drivelines.
OPTION 2: HYDROSTATIC TRANSMISSION
For smooth and easy operation, a Hydrostatic Transmission is your best choice. It allows you to adjust your speed—and change from forward to reverse—using only foot pedals. There's no need to engage a clutch or adjust shift levers.
OPTION 3: 12x12 SYNCHRONIZED SHUTTLE SHIFT (SSS)
If you perform tasks that require shifting between forward and reverse repeatedly, and you prefer a traditional transmission, the 12x12 SSS transmission can make it easier with 12 forward and 12 reverse gears. Because shuttle shifts are synchronized, there’s no need to come to a complete stop before shuttling.
OPTION 4: 9x3 GEAR TRANSMISSION
The 9x3 Gear Transmission has three ranges—low, medium and high—giving you nine forward speeds and three reverse speeds total. This economical option is ideal for applications where you typically run for long periods in a single gear.
CRUISE THROUGH TEDIOUS TASKS
Give your right foot a rest. Select and maintain a constant working speed with the optional cruise control instead (offered on select models). It really comes in handy for mowing larger properties and transporting your tractor from one location to another.
DUALPOWER™ POWERSHIFT CONTROL
The more choices, the better. Our exclusive, state-of-the-art DualPower™ powershift control is provided on the right-hand console and the loader joystick lever of the Boomer™ 3040 and 3045 equipped with Hydrostatic Transmissions. It doubles your speed choices by providing a "high" and "low" shift at any speed in either range.
