From the 424-horsepower FR9040, all the way up to the 824-horsepower FR9090, you have the benefit of the PowerCruise™ engine load management system, which automatically adjusts ground speed to match the load. This gives the operator more time to fill the truck, while the FR manages crop load automatically.

THE RIGHT ENGINE FOR THE JOB

Reliable in-line six-cylinder Iveco engines power the FR9040, FR9050 and FR9060, providing outstanding chopping capacity and fuel economy. A turbo compound diesel powers the FR9060 and recovers exhaust gas to reuse it, for more power from less fuel. A Caterpillar C18 engine on the FR9080 delivers 685 horsepower to handle heavy crops.

The biggest FR forage harvester is equipped with a gutsy engine—an 824-horsepower Iveco V8 engine. This 20-liter monster powerplant delivers over 100 horsepower per cylinder, providing power to handle any crop, anytime, anywhere.
