Specialty Headers
New Holland brings Speedrower® windrower performance and reliability to delicate crops that don’t require conditioning, such as grass seed, mint and flower seed. Two specialty headers—the 750HD and 14HS—deliver quality crop handling, and are backed by New Holland’s one-year factory warranty.
DISC HEADER HANDLES DELICATE CROPS
Designed to handle delicate crops with kid gloves, the 750HD specialty disc header works with the H8060 and H8080 windrowers to cut a 15-foot, 5-inch path. It creates consistent, evenly formed windrows, minimizes seed loss and delivers significantly more throughput capacity than sickle heads.
CURTAIN PUSH BAR AND OTHER FEATURES
Minimize seed loss with the 750HD’s curtain push bar. When it’s not needed, it easily rolls away on the header, without restricting visibility. Other key features include MowMax™ cutterbar with adjustable disc speed, floating auger and crop discharge opening that can be set at either 60 or 83 inches to tailor windrow width.
SICKLEBAR HEADER CUTS THROUGH HEAVY CROPS
Get clean cutting, even through damp, heavy or tangled crop conditions, with the 14HS specialty sicklebar header. It gently windrows delicate seed crops for maximum seed retention. A fully adjustable six-bat reel with hydraulic drive lets you make on-the-go speed adjustments from the cab.
FAST ADJUSTMENTS FOR ANY FIELD CONDITIONS
Several features allow easy adjustments of the 14HS sicklebar header to handle a variety of crops and field conditions:
- A reduced 196-rpm auger speed handles valuable seed crops gently.
- Stub guards allow for efficient cutting in wet or dense undergrowth.
- A wide crop opening in the header floor (adjustable to 63 or 80 inches) provides gentle crop collection and windrow formation with the use of forming rods.
- Five-position adjustable skid shoes let you set cutting height quickly, without tools.
