Steering/Brakes
Maneuverability can be matched to any application for top efficiency with a choice of three steering modes:
- Front-wheel steer, for maximum control at transport speeds.
- Circle steer for maximum maneuverability and tight turning.
- Crab steer for stacking pallets or when working beside a wall or building.
OUTMANEUVERING OTHER MACHINES
With exceptional agility and reach, LM5000 telehandlers outperform skid steers, tractors with front loaders, wheel loaders and fork lifts. Routine tasks for the LM5000 include stacking round bales or large square bales six to eight levels high and scooping a bucket of silage from the very top of a bunker silo.
SUPERIOR TRACTION IN TOUGH CONDITIONS
Slippery conditions are no problem for the LM5000 telehandler, thanks to excellent traction provided by the full-time four-wheel drive, four large tires and a limited slip differential in the front axle. Secure service brakes include four hydraulic wet discs per wheel with a mechanical driveline disc parking brake.
