New Holland Recieves IRON Solutions Highest Residual Value Awards

New Holland, PA (September 14, 2009) - New Holland was recognized by IRON Solutions, publisher of the Official Guide, in awards they presented for 2006 Model Year Tractors and Combines with the Highest Residual Values. The awards highlight the accomplishments of manufacturers of farm equipment that holds the greatest proportion of original price after three years of ownership.

Based on analysis of more than four hundred 2006 model year machines, New Holland's CR970 combine won the Highest Residual Value Award in the Class VIII combine class, and the TS130A with standard cab won the award in the small row crop tractor (100-139 hp) category. These models retained the highest residual value in the market after three years of service when compared to the original selling price.

"A recognition like the 2009 Official Guide Highest Residual Value Award is an important milestone for the farm equipment industry," says Paul Kindinger, president and chief executive officer of the North American Equipment Dealer Association. "First, the award is an important recognition of the quality engineering and manufacturing that goes into this extraordinary equipment. Second, because these awards are based on billions of dollars of actual, unbiased and detailed sales transactions, the Official Guide Highest Residual Value Award is a seal of excellence that manufacturers, dealers and customers alike can rely on. These awards will benefit farmer, dealer and manufacturer alike."

IRON Solutions President and CEO, Darwin Melnyk, presented the awards to New Holland's North America Vice President of Sales and Marketing, John Stevenson; North American Senior Director of Marketing, David Greenberg; and Regional Sales Director Dennis Hann during the Farm Progress Show in Decatur, IL.
