New Combine Heads Match Capacity of New Holland Combines

New Holland, PA (August 31, 2010) - New Holland has introduced three new combine heads specifically designed to match the high capacity of New Holland CR9000 Series Twin Rotor® and CX8000 Series Super-Conventional combines.

740CF Super Flex Auger Header
The new 740CF Super Flex auger header features a stronger, lighter frame and smoother feeding than previous auger header models. With four cutting width choices (20-, 25-, 30- and 35-feet), the 740CF flexible direct cut auger headers feature a patented, rubber spring flotation system that allows the header to follow ground contours more closely to get every bit of crop. The rubber torsion springs on each floor support can be manually adjusted to fine-tune the flotation or to compensate for any unevenness in the cutterbar. Hydraulic cutterbar flotation adjustment, which allows adjustments from the combine cab, is available as a dealer-installed accessory.

A 26" diameter auger with 5" flighting handles heavy crop and feeds it smoothly into the combine. A new, patented rubber retention system prevents broken auger fingers from entering the combine.

16-row 98D Corn Head
The new 16-row 98D corn head with 30-inch spacing is a perfect fit for the producer looking for increased in-field efficiency and capacity. It's available with the four-sensor Terrain TracerTM automatic flotation and header height control system that follows the ground contour in rough, uneven fields.

790CP Windrow Pickup Headers
Small grain and grass seed producers can gather wider windrows and save more grain with the new 790CP windrow pickup headers. The 12- and 15-foot headers operate at faster field speeds to boost harvesting performance. The unique flexing pickup frame allows for up to 12 inches of flex within the frame to smoothly follow rough terrain, swales and ditches. Terrain Tracer automatic flotation and header height control system is standard.

790CP headers use fewer belts than competitive models to reduce the risk of seed loss between belts. These headers feature an integrated seed dam between the rear transfer belt and floor to prevent seed/grain loss, so there's no need for a rubber seal.

The 12-foot 790CP uses extra picking fingers to capture more seeds and a slower auger spec for extra-gentle handling.
