New Holland Honored for Dedication to the Beef Industry

New Holland, PA (December 13, 2013) - National Cattlemen's Beef Association President Scott George joined Pennsylvania Cattlemen's Association President Scott Rhoads as he presented New Holland Agriculture with a Distinguished Industry Service Award in recognition of the company's contributions and dedication to the beef industry.

"This award is being presented for the opportunities and benefits our Pennsylvania cattlemen have received through New Holland's support of the National Cattlemen's Beef Association's membership benefit program," said Scott Rhoads, President of the Pennsylvania Cattlemen's Association. "We would like to extend our gratitude to New Holland for the opportunities their investment in the beef industry has provided for our membership."

New Holland has partnered with the National Cattlemen's Beef Association (NCBA) by providing an incentive for state affiliates to increase membership. In recognition of state affiliates' efforts to encourage their members to join NCBA, New Holland provided six state affiliates with their choice of a one-year lease of a New Holland BR7090 round baler or a one-year lease of a New Holland T6.175 tractor.

A strong state and national membership partnership, says NCBA President and Cody, Wyoming Cattleman Scott George, strengthens the voice of cattlemen and women in Washington, D.C., and elsewhere.  "It is our grassroots members that allow us to be effective in Washington. We greatly appreciate the opportunity to partner with New Holland in this effort; together we are working to keep rural America strong."

"We're honored to receive this award," said New Holland Vice President Abe Hughes. "We believe it is smart for all of us to work together to strengthen our industry and provide opportunities for future generations of farmers and ranchers. We're proud to play a part in supporting the beef industry through the NCBA's state and national membership efforts."
