New Holland ‘Lean & Mean’ TS6 Series Tractors Deliver Big Performance at an Economical Price

New Holland, PA (February 14, 2012) - New Holland's new all-purpose "Lean & Mean" TS6 Series tractors deliver big performance at an economical price. The four TS6 models range from 90- to 115-PTO horsepower: two models are equipped with 4-cylinder engines and two models feature 6-cylinder engines. All four models are available with either 2WD or 4WD, and with a flat-deck ROPS operator station or an all-weather cab.

"The TS6 Series tractors are not only easy to operate and easy to maintain, they're also available with lots of choices to match specific operational needs," says Mike Cornman, Dairy & Livestock Segment Marketing Manager. "The TS6 tractors offer a wider selection of transmissions than you'll find on competitive brand tractors. All transmissions are synchronized to allow shifting on the fly without grinding gears and they're great for loader work with a dedicated left-hand shuttle lever that makes forward/reverse shifting easy."

TS6 tractors are available with a choice of three rugged transmissions: an 8F x 8R synchronized transmission with mechanical shuttle, an 8F x 8R synchronized transmission with hydraulic shuttle and a 16F x 8R DualPower™ transmission with hydraulic shuttle. The DualPower transmission has an underdrive for each forward gear to provide more torque at the push of a button. An optional 4-speed creeper range is available for all transmissions.

The 274-cubic inch, four-cylinder diesel engine in the TS6.110 and TS6.120 and the 411-cubic inch 6-cylinder engines in the TS6.125 and TS6.140 are turbocharged and intercooled providing maximum performance and fuel efficiency. Designed to run on standard diesel fuels or any biodiesel blend up to B100 that meets ASTM 6751 fuel quality standards, the TS6 Series tractors are fuel-efficient, durable and economical.

Additional high-performance hydraulic features include standard FWD hydraulic engagement for on-the-go extra traction and reduced wheel slip. An auxiliary implement hydraulic pump is available to add 9 gpm flow to the standard 13-gpm implement pump to efficiently run high-demand implements.

Three-point hitch capacity of up to 7,200 lbs., flexible link ends and telescopic stabilizers handle heavy implements with ease. The fuel tank holds a generous 39 gallons for long operation between fill-ups.
