New Holland Agriculture plans to make a big impact at the Nampo Harvest Day, which will be held from 15 to 18 May 2018. This will be its first appearance at the show since taking over direct distribution of its products and services in South Africa. The impressive display, on stand A2 and A3 will showcase New Holland’s farming solutions that cover the complete agricultural cycle from land preparation, planting, seeding, crop preparation, harvesting to irrigation.
Tractors: new additions extend New Holland’s extensive offering
The New Holland stand will show tractor models representative of its wide offering, which ranges from 26 to 447kw in various configurations and specification levels that meet the requirements of all applications. Also on display will be new additions to the offering. For the vineyard and fruit producer, the new T4LP (low profile) series has been specifically designed for steep hillsides. The second generation TDF specialty series tractors will also be shown for the first time at Nampo. This range features a redesigned platform, controls and styling layout, and also a larger model, the TD90F which boasts 65kw. The 7610, a well proven and trusted range makes its return. For the growers, New Holland will present for the first time its TS6.120 "high clearance" tractor, which is characterized by unprecedented ground clearance and a 88kw rated power output, which increases productivity by making use of larger implements now possible. Focus is also placed on the ever-popular T6000 and T7000 European tractor ranges, as well as the T8 range that combines wheels and tracks for the best of both worlds.
New Holland Combines: record-breaking productivity
New Holland will showcase its CR twin rotor combine, which earned its place in the "Guinness World Book of Records" as the harvesting world record holder and most powerful combine in the market with the highest capacity. The CR7.90 and CR 9.80 on display perfectly illustrate the range’s world leading capacity, grain quality, low fuel consumption and versatility. They are available with more options than ever, including dual driving wheels and tracks. New Holland's unique "Varifeed" and "Flex" headers complement this series to harvest any crop with care from the field. New Holland is also entering the Class 6 segment with a new twin rotor combine, which will make its debut at Nampo.
Hay & Forage: new introductions join popular balers and mowers on display
New Holland’s display will include several exciting product: the RB125 fixed chamber roll baler that produces 1.25m bales, the new RB150 variable chamber round baler that can make bale sizes from 0.9 to 1.5m. The proven BR6090 round baler is also available in rotofeed and rotocut options. The popular BC5070 baler, three-point mounted and trailed mowers are also part of the exhibition. Two trailed mower conditioners, the 313 and 316 are still equipped with the "Mowmax" 2 cutting bar, which consists of larger discs for increased capacity and a clean, low cut.
Self-propelled sprayers: unprecedented ground clearance and high versatility
New Holland self-propelled sprayers still boast unprecedented ground clearance, and a unique suspension which can handle any terrain in the Guardian range. With many options that include tank size, boom width, section control and more, these high quality sprayers can be ordered for any application. For maximum productivity, the machines can also be ordered with the option to cut down crops, thus turning into one of the most versatile tools imaginable. As an option, "Intellispray" is also available on these sprayers that spray with impulses and automatically compensate when turning.
New Holland Construction light equipment
New Holland Construction light equipment, which will soon be available at selected New Holland agricultural dealers, will also be represented on the stand, with backhoe loader and skid steer loader models on display.
New Holland PLM (Precision Land Management): efficient farming
An area of the display will be devoted to New Holland’s Precision Land Management offering, which includes a full range of complete guidance solutions that can be tailored to suit individual needs, software to download and analyse yield data to fine tune inputs and reduce costs, advanced telematics systems to synchronise in-field working between machines. New Holland’s PLM specialists will be on the stand do provide information and advice. This team provides backup to factory installed systems, as well as the provision of equipment according to the customers’ requirements.
