GUARDIAN™ SELF-PROPELLED FRONT BOOM SPRAYER

PANORAMIC VISIBILITY

You’ll appreciate the expansive view of the field and the full width of the spray boom. Designed with over 69 square feet of glass, the cab features a full height windshield and large wrap-around side windows. Plus, the rear windows have been darkened to shade you from long days in the sun.

GUARDIAN™ CAB

Step into the spacious redesigned Guardian™ cab and long days will melt away. Sitting tall in the sprayer, you have a larger field of view through the full-height windshield and past redesigned lift arms to the front boom view. The wide air-ride seat ensures every operator stays comfortable even after extended spraying hours. Details like foot pegs on the steering column, Bluetooth and XM radio, push-button engine start and backlit, dimmable switches add up to major comfort. The Automatic Temperature Control (ATC) system comes as standard equipment on the Guardian™.

Natural, efficient control

All controls are situated perfectly for easy operation. The new multi-function handle puts all critical function controls at your fingertips for precise, efficient control of the transmission, throttle, boom and individual sections. The convenient armrest command console is mounted on the seat and moves with the operator. Large switches are backlit and dimmable so they are easy to see and use. The engine/transmission monitor located at the front of the armrest provides clear, on-the-go information. These controls combined with automatic section control, boom height control and auto guidance systems make the Guardian™ sprayers convenient to operate while reducing input costs and the ability to cover more ground faster than ever.

An easy view to all nozzles

Don’t miss a minute — nozzles are located behind the front boom where you can see them clearly, without straining your neck or shifting in your seat. Additionally, an in-cab adjustable sunscreen gives shade while providing a clear unobstructed view of the front boom assembly.

Two cab packages

The roomy, quiet Guardian™ cab is available in two configurations: Deluxe or Luxury.

• The Deluxe cab is pre-wired from the factory for New Holland IntelliSteer™ auto-guidance and offers an instructor’s seat, radio with CD player and weather band, auxiliary power outlet, automatic climate control, USB charge ports, as well as enhanced radio with XM Satellite™, Bluetooth®, an adjustable tilting and telescoping steering column, and active charcoal filtration with in-cab secondary filter.
• The Luxury cab package takes your comfort a step further the new Grammer Evolution leather trimmed seat that is fully adjustable, heated and vented. The steering wheel is also leather-wrapped. A large refrigerator is located under the instructional seat. RAM X-Grip® mount for cell phones and a rear back-up camera, integrated self charging flashlight, Auto on/off head lights 110 volt power outlet and more luxury features.

CHASSIS MONITORS

The Guardian’s right-hand chassis monitor is mounted on an adjustable swing arm and allows operators to control many functions of the sprayer, and select what is displayed on the monitoring screen. The headliner chassis monitor continually displays operating functions of the chassis including speed, rpm, spray pressure, temperatures and fuel level. It is mounted on the ceiling where it does not disrupt the operator’s line of sight to the spray boom. A new spray info bar with light-up section display is mounted to the ceiling and lets you know which boom systems are operating.

INTELLIVIEW™ IV MONITOR

The IntelliView™ IV color, 10.5-inch, touchscreen display is available as an option from the factory. In addition to monitoring all sprayer functions, the IntelliView IV monitor allows you to control boom height, section controls, prescription applications and auto guidance (if so equipped) – all from one monitor. The display offers direct USB connectivity for data collection, and can provide summaries for product applied and area worked – by farm, by field, by operator, by crop and more.

RAVEN DISPLAY OPTIONS

If you prefer, you can request your Guardian™ sprayer with Raven precision options factory installed. Choose the Raven Envizio Pro™ XL, Viper Pro™ or Viper® IV controllers for automatic sectional boom control, boom height control, auto-guidance, mapping and data-logging capabilities.
