Together we will feed the Planet in the Sustainable Farm Pavilion.

The theme of Expo Milano 2015 - Feed the Planet, Energy for Life - was from the very start closely connected with the values and technologies of New Holland. The Universal Exposition therefore represented a unique and unrepeatable opportunity to tell millions of visitors coming from all over the world about our brand, our history and our role in the food chain, but above all, our vision of the future.
For this reason, the Pavilion at the Expo was designed with the inspiration that com​es from the Clean Energy Leader strategy and, in particular, from the Energy Independent Farm project, based on the idea that we can finally do away with using fossil fuels thanks to Bioenergy.
​​Expo 2015 has also provided the opportunity to show how farmers make a decisive contribution to this new way of understanding work in the fields - now supported by avant-garde technologies and futuristic machines - without altering the passion and vocation that guided them: to feed and sustain all mankind.


The Sustainable Farm Pavilion

The Pavilion at Expo has been designed to give a clear picture of the way in which a world leader in agricultural mechanisation has been steered towards a more sustainable future.​




Many avant-garde technologies have been used over the entire 935,600 m​² area, enabling us Pavilion to win two prestigious prizes: one of the Best Corporate Pavilion and the other for a leader in the Design & Construction category.




Of particular interest are the solutions adopted to minimise the environmental impact of the stands, make energy and water consumption more efficient, use renewable sources and facilitate the dismantling and complete re-use of the stands as a permanent exhibition area.

This has involved a series of coordinated choices, adopted in the various external and internal spaces, such as the grass roof, which has limited heat absorption during the day, and the rainwater recovery system to water the turf on the roof.
