New Holland Agriculture, a leading agricultural equipment manufacturer under CNH Industrial, introduces a new CSR initiative – ‘Unnat Kaushal- Mechanized Farming Training’. The program is in collaboration with Vasantrao Naik Marathwada Krishi Vidyapeeth (VNMKV)/Parbhani University in Maharashtra. The two-year skill development initiative aims to empower 1500 people with the necessary skills and technical knowledge of mechanized farming.
The program intends to improve the operation and utilization capabilities of the trainees on key farm equipment. This will help them to fully mechanize the cultivation of crucial crops, such as soybean, cotton and sugarcane available in the Marathwada region. The 3-day training program consists of basic tractor operations, selection and attachment of proper matching implements, field operations, basic repair and maintenance, along with regular assessments and feedback to the participants.
