New Holland has expanded its industry-leading T7 Heavy Duty (HD) tractor range in Australia and New Zealand with the launch of a 3-metre centre set-up, purpose-built for Controlled Traffic Farming (CTF) operations.
This latest introduction answers growing demand from broadacre, cotton, and horticulture growers looking to align their machinery to fixed tramline systems without compromising on power, comfort, or technology.
Cameron Jordan, Dealer Principal at McIntosh & Son Dalby, said the change would make a real difference for growers working within strict CTF systems.
“The soil structure across large parts of our operating area means the adherance to CTF practices is often very strict, and almost all of our broadacre customers are operating on dedicated 3-metre centres. This new offering from New Holland gives them the ability to stay within their CTF systems while stepping into the performance and reliability of the T7 HD range,” he said.
“With full factory warranty now available on the T7 HD range, we’re excited to offer this model to more customers, giving them more operational flexibility and choice. “
Controlled Traffic Farming is a well-established system that reduces soil compaction, improves water infiltration, and increases long-term productivity by restricting heavy machinery to permanent wheel tracks. The new 3-metre option allows operators to reap these benefits while enjoying the full T7 HD capability.
The T7 HD range delivers up to 340 horsepower, features the spacious and quiet Horizon™ Ultra cab, and offers an industry-leading 750-hour service interval. It’s equipped with the IntelliView™ 12” monitor and integrated New Holland FieldOps™ for machine monitoring and control—making it a dependable choice for demanding farming tasks such as tillage, planting, spraying, and transport.
