Reman spare parts: our way to sustainability
Categories

In 2023, CNHi REMAN will commit to offsetting the CO2 emissions resulting from the remanufacturing process of New Holland engines sold in Europe.

At REMAN, we have always taken our environmental responsibilities very seriously and are committed to saving up to 80% of energy, water and raw materials through our regeneration process.

Our further effort will be to offset the non-reducible CO2 emissions produced during the regeneration of our engines, supporting a project in collaboration with Treedom to help populate the CNH Industrial forest. Academic studies have allowed us to quantify the CO2 produced to regenerate an engine and, consequently, our commitment in terms of trees to be planted during the course of the next year.

Each tree planted, in fact, during its useful life will absorb the remaining share of CO2 emitted into the atmosphere and will produce oxygen, thus improving the air we all breathe. Each tree will have an online page and can be given to our customers via message or email thanks to an identification code, which will allow the owner to choose where to plant their tree and start following the history of the project to which it belongs.

John Mauro, Sales & Communication Manager Reman EMEA, said: "The products in the Reman range are regenerated products, which favor energy saving and the use of primary resources, with a complete and constantly evolving offer. With this partnership with Treedom we want to strengthen our environmental commitment, in line with our approach based on the circular economy".
