ALBERTA WOMEN AND BC MEN GRAB GOLD AT THE 2019 NEW HOLLAND CANADIAN JUNIORS!
A “true blue” congratulations to the winners of this year’s New Holland Canadian Juniors youth curling tournament held in Prince Albert, Saskatchewan in January. Tyler Tardi of Langley, British Columbia skipped his team to their third Canadian Juniors men’s championship this year beating out the Manitoba men. Tyler and his teammates will go for their fourth-straight Juniors win on their home ice in Langley in 2020.
Skipped by Selena Sturmay, the Alberta women’s team won their championship, as well. They beat British Columbia women to garner the trophy. Both teams move forward to the World Junior Curling Championship in Liverpool, Nova Scotia representing Canada.
