New Holland, PA (July 25, 2017) – CNH Industrial and Trimble announced today that they are enabling wireless connectivity between Trimble® Ag Software and New Holland Precision Land Management (PLM) Connect telematics platforms in North America. Users of PLM Connect will have the ability to share their agronomic data from their management portal directly to and from Trimble Ag Software in addition to other previously announced API’s.
“New Holland has a long and storied history of providing our customers with the latest tools to help them be successful and profitable,” said Luke Zerby, New Holland’s Precision Land Management Marketing Manager. “The addition of Trimble® to our list of API’s adds tremendous value to many New Holland Customers to quickly and securely transfer their data and we are pleased to add this to our Open and Supported Platform.”
Depending on the services offered by the provider, these producers may elect to share yield maps, guidance line patterns and much more from any computer or tablet connected to the Internet. In return, the service providers will be able to send resulting prescriptions and analysis.
