New Holland plans to make a big impact with its stand at the Nampo Show, which will be held in Bothaville, South Africa, from 13 to 16 May 2014.
The theme of efficient farming will run through the entire exhibit, which will rely on a rich assortment of audiovisual displays, live presentations from New Holland specialists and cutaway models in the dynamic, high-tech and welcoming atmosphere of its ample tent. Particular focus will be devoted to the acclaimed Twin Rotor™ CR flagship combines, the versatile TD5 series tractors with loader, New Holland’s in-house advanced fuel-efficient engine technology, and its PLM precision farming solutions.
Every day between 11:00 and 12:00 am New Holland specialists will make a presentation on the latest technologies available from New Holland. A big outdoor video screen will show highlights of New Holland’s full product range and customer testimonials of South African farmers that experienced New Holland solutions on their farms. Visitors to the stand will be able to enjoy a full brand experience in the tent as they discover New Holland’s exciting new products and advanced technologies.
CR combines: capacity, quality and efficiency
The CR8070 and CR9080 combines take productivity to a whole new level with the all-new Dynamic Feed Roll™ with integrated dynamic stone protection. It provides a smoother, streamlined feeding and automatically directs stones into a dedicated trap on the go, increasing capacity by up to 15%. Visitors to the stand will be able to see how this productivity-boosting feature works on a ‘cutaway’ display of the rotor and Dynamic Feed Roll.
New Holland’s unique Twin Rotor™ technology delivers grain quality without equal, with the lowest percentage of cracked grain in the industry, at just 0.1%. The CR combines also feature the Opti-Clean™ system that optimizes the stroke and throwing angles, further improving cleaning efficiency. The grain handling system has also been upgraded to match the increased capacity and throughput of the CR combine. Unloading speed has increased by 15%, so that the largest grain tank of 12,500 litres can be emptied in just 100 seconds.
TD5 tractors: advanced features, outstanding comfort
A TD5 tractor with integrated front loader will be displayed inside the tent. This tractor series offers fuel efficiency, more power, premium comfort, high versatility and more productivity. It features a powerful engine that delivers a big performance with exceptionally low fuel consumption. The range has been extended with a new class-leading 110 hp model to increase productivity. The new VisionView™ cab provides improved 360-degree visibility, extremely low noise levels and ergonomically designed controls – all this resulting in unrivalled premium operator comfort. The TD5 is available with a specifically designed factory fitted front loader, which together with its new powershuttle transmission, makes it ideal for precision loader work. This is the perfect tractor for livestock farmers.
PLM precision farming, efficient farming
An area of the tent will be devoted to New Holland’s Precision Land Management solutions, which include a full range of complete automatic guidance solutions that can be tailored to suit individual needs, software to download and analyse yield data and programs that enable farmers to vary the rate of application according to soil and field conditions, fine tuning inputs and reducing costs, and the latest developments on advanced telematics systems to synchronise in-field working between machines.
In-house engine technology from a specialist
Visitors to the stand will be able to learn about New Holland’s exceptionally fuel-efficient and low-emissions technology by viewing the engine developed by in-house specialist FPT Industrial, as well as the videos and presentations that will be available.
Financing tailored to farmers’ requirements
A team from CNH Industrial Capital will also be on hand in a dedicated area to inform visitors about the financing programs tailored to meet the specific needs of farming businesses.
New Holland South Africa: Close to the customer
The Nampo Show will provide farmers the opportunity to meet the team from New Holland’s distributor, New Holland South Africa.
