New Holland launched a host of new implements at the SIMA 2019 exhibition, in Paris, France, extending its hay and forage range to offer customers a wider choice of complete solutions. The first of these models will be arrivng in New Zealand in time for spring 2019.
“Following the first launch of New Holland branded implements at the Agritechnica 2017 fair, we have proceeded with the gradual integration of these products into our product offering,” explains Carlo Lambro, New Holland Agriculture Brand President. “With these new introductions we are further extending the range of implements that are perfectly integrated with our New Holland equipment to deliver all-round agricultural solutions that maximise the efficiency and productivity of our customers.”
Hay and Forage range extended with 13 new models including DuraDisc™ and Mega Cutter™ mowers
New Holland offers a full range of implements for hay and foraging operations that includes a wide choice of front and rear mounted mowers as well as lateral and central pull trailed versions, mounted and trailed tedders, and side and central delivery rakes. With the new introductions, it is able to provide the right implements for farming operations of all sizes.
The plain disc mower line-up has been extended with three new entry-level DuraDisc mowers with working width ranging from 2.0m to 2.8m, which are a perfect match for the requirements of farmers and part-time farmers who do their own hay and silage cutting. They are simple to operate and maintain, and reliably deliver a high performance.
Also new at SIMA 2019 was the Mega Cutter triple mower with adjustable working width from 8.4m to 8.6m. Designed with maximum throughput in mind, it is the mower of choice for large-scale farmers and contractors who need to maintain high efficiency in their silage cutting operations in order to keep up with large balers and forage harvesters.
The DuraDisc and Mega Cutter ranges perfectly complement the side, front and trailed DiscCutter mowers.
New Holland is also extending its offering with three new entry ProTed tedders and five ProRotor rakes - three single rotor and two double rotor models.
