A
n event lasting
six months, from
1st May to 31st
October 2015, and playing
host to 147 participants,
including the United
Nations and the European
Union - the upcoming
Expo edition taking place
inMilan next year is
shaping up to be the most
important global event
dedicated to a subject
crucial to the future of our
planet: guaranteeing the
entire human race a food
supply that is pleasurable,
healthy, sufficient and
sustainable.
Visitors will be able to
participate in debates,
conferences, events
and performances with
a multidisciplinary and
multicultural approach,
focused around the
Exposition's key theme as
expressed in this edition's
title: "Feeding the Planet,
Energy for Life".
New Holland Agriculture
will feature prominently
for the duration of the
event: as part of the CNH
Industrial Group, it will
have the status of an
Official Global Partner of
Expo 2015. This means it
will have its own original
and exciting pavilion,
complete with a whole
range of interactive and
multimedia features.
Visitors will be able to
see for themselves and
understand in detail
how a global leader in
agricultural mechanisation
promotes a sustainable
agriculture model that
can apply to the vast
majority of world farming
contexts, founded on
fair food resources
for all, efficient and
responsible use of natural
resources, reductions
in emissions and in fuel
consumption, and respect
for the natural and rural
environment.
The pavilion will feature
an itinerary illustrating
the various cycles of
agricultural production
processes, from tillage
to harvest and to the
passage of the seasons.
Each stage will feature
a presentation of New
Holland technologies,
systems and innovations
designed to reconcile
production efficiency
with the rational and
sustainable use of
resources, demonstrated
to the public with facilities
to allow visitors to enjoy
a hands-on experience of
the proposed solutions.

theprotectionof biodiversity and innovations in
biotechnology.
Theexhibitionareawill occupy aground surfaceof 1.1million
squaremetres in thenorth-westernpart ofMilan.
Theoverall sitewill echo theurban layout of cities during
theRomanEmpire,withanorthogonal grid featuring two
mainaxis: theDecumanus, roughly1.5kilometres in length,
withpavilions oneither side, and theCardobisecting it.Water
- theprimarynourishment of theearthandofmankind -will
surround theentire site ina4.5kilometre canal.
