• New Holland has unveiled its new T2204 tractor with new styling, FR Forage Cruiser forage harvester, and BigBaler 1290 PLUS at the Xinjiang Agricultural Machinery Expo
• The new products showcase New Holland’s efficient and high-quality solutions

New Holland unveiled new products from its agricultural machinery range at the 2022 Xinjiang Agricultural Machinery Expo, held this month in Urumqi, China.

The New Holland T2204 tractor, which meets the Chinese National IV emission standards, as well as the FR Forage Cruiser self-propelled forage harvester and the BigBaler 1290 PLUS, were on display, showcasing the efficient and high-quality solutions to expo visitors from the northwest region of China.

Higher fuel economy; more options for farm implements
The New Holland T2204 tractor has a rated 220 horsepower FPT NEF engine with high-efficiency selective catalytic reduction second-generation technology, which fully meets the National IV emission standards. The hydraulic flow rate of the main pump is up to 120 liters/min. The globally- proven PowerCommand transmission with the auto shifting function and Powershuttle makes this tractor versatile and easy to operate.

The new styling of the tractor with new hood and cab roof can now offer eight LED lights on the cab and an additional two LED signature lights in the hood, turning night into day and increasing the number of available working hours.

The 119” bar axle gives the customer the flexibility to set wheel spacing to suit their needs. With a maximum lift capacity of 10,463 kilograms, this tractor can also lift heavier implements when required. The New Holland T2204 is a great fit for all grassland and arable farming applications.

Quality of silage assured with advanced and high-quality harvesters
New Holland has a long history in the forage industry since 1961, when the first self-propelled forage harvester was operated in corn fields for dairy farms. From the beginning, New Holland's commitment has been to ensure the best cutting quality to maximize the yield of forage production.

With the widest chop channel components on the market from feedrolls to spout flipper, the crop mat at a given throughput is thinner and better controlled. This allows precision chopping and thorough processing to make the highest quality feed possible, whatever the crop.

The engine efficiency management ECO function is standard on all models and ensures the engine is always fully loaded in relation to a preset engine speed to deliver optimal operating efficiency and performance.

Easy-to-access service points are and long maintenance intervals mean less repair time and longer harvesting operations in the field. An example of the outstanding serviceability of this machine is that a solo operator to change the processor from corn to grass setting without the need for any tools in less than two minutes, saving valuable time during busy harvesting periods.

Non-stop technological innovation of balers for 80 years
The extra-long bale chamber and unique pre-compression structure of the BigBaler 1290 PLUS ensure that the machine can maintain a perfect square shape while producing high-density bales. Newly designed feeding and large needle protection and drive systems, reinforced piston bearings, make the vehicle more reliable; while a reinforced pick-up mechanism, uniquely designed annular knotter, and unique bale chamber anti-stick technology, make baling more efficient.

New Holland's patented Loop Master™ loop knotter adopts a new safe loop knotting method to avoid cut twine ends being discarded in the field, which not only protects the environment, but improves the quality of animal feed, makes stronger bales, saves the amount of twine used, and reduces costs.

New Holland's range of forage and harvesting machinery is favoured by many users, thanks to its high operating efficiency, low operating cost and high reliability.

At the Xinjiang Agricultural Machinery Expo, visitors could see the new machinery for themselves, with opportunities to ask questions about operation. In addition, they could also learn about financing, support and other comprehensive information through the professional team.

New Holland and its professional dealer network are committed to providing users with complete and efficient after-sales service and technical training, providing a strong guarantee and ensuring that when customers go into the field they are able to optimise their use of New Holland machinery.
